Keep your city clean, green and beautiful, appeals MBMC mayor Dimple Mehta

“Keep your city clean, green and beautiful” appeals newly elected MBMC Mayor Dimple Vinod Mehta in her first press conference

Mumbai: Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) which is conducting a cleanly drive called “Swatcchata Hi Seva” for last two weeks, will be concluded on Gandhi Jayanti into a huge public rally on Oct. 2, 2017, MBMC Mayor Smt. Dimple Vinod Mehta told media persons addressing her very first press conference after becoming mayor here in the MBMC civic body office.

Mrs. Mehta further said, “To Keep our city clean, green and beautiful is not only government’s duty but everybody’s responsibility too. We have been conducting 15-day cleanly awareness campaign programs in the city where various issues of cleanliness are being raised such as… To keep the wet and dry waste separate, To maintain the public society premises clean, Do not use the 50 or less microns plastic bags and banning the urinal and toilet in open public places.”

In the PC MBMC deputy commissioner Mr. Panpate was presenting the campaign  information before the media but he was heavily questioned and interrupted by a section of reporters, like MBMC officers are only interested to make show off the cleanly campaign and do not listen to public grievances then what is the point of holding a drive and pc for the purpose? then pc meet to a sudden end.

Anyway, therefore this “Swatcchata Hi Seva” awareness campaign will be culminated into a ‘huge’ public rally of more than 50,000 to 1 lakh people at 9 am on Oct. 2, 2017 at different palaces in Mira-Bhayandar where maximum people are called upon to participate.
